The XXX Summer Olympiad : London 2012
Inspired by the forthcoming Summer Olympic Games, this pattern illustrates the sports together with some motivational and inspirational quotes by great athletes. The pattern is based on the 'X' since this year it will be the 30th (XXX) Olympic Games. These 'X's joined together create a negative space in the form of of a diamond which was used as a base to present the precious sports. The three verses of the original Olympic Anthem written and composed by the Greek artists Samaras and Palamas can also be found amongst the diamonds.
